At Medtronic, we are seeking a highly skilled Pricing System Help Desk Specialist to join our Global Offer Development and Pricing Systems Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our customers and patients, while helping to champion healthcare access and equity for all.
About the Role
As a Pricing System Help Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-level support to end-users of our pricing systems landscape, including Vendavo Enterprise suite, Salesforce Pricing Requests, and other emerging commercial enablement tools. Your primary objective will be to enhance system usage, drive corporate efficiency, and improve user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for end-users of Vendavo/SFDC/Pros and other Pricing tools, answering 'how to' questions regarding the tools and standard processes.
- Interact with internal and/or external teams to resolve complex system issues.
- Communicate with end-users in English by phone and email.
- Provide remote user support resolving issues on customer's workstations.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring tickets, tracking, and delivering upon agreed SLAs.
- Explain new and current system functionalities to end-users (COEs, Sales, Finance).
- Deliver and/or provide ad-hoc training on system and process capabilities to various stakeholders.
- Support audit activities on a quarterly basis where assistance is needed.
- Set and maintain knowledge bases on the tools and related processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree with 3-5 years of experience in support desk or incident management.
- Fluent English skills.
- Affinity towards systems and technology.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with an anticipatory approach.
- Intermediate to advanced SFDC skills.
- Advanced Excel/Power Query skills.
- Help Desk Experience.
- Nice to Haves: Additional language skills, preferably in Spanish/Portuguese/Mandarin/Japanese; Team player skills with strong attention to detail; Experience with Windows OS, MS Office, Service Now (or similar incident management tools) and remote support tools; Strong collaborative skills and ability to work across time zones; Customer-oriented and multitasking skills with a can-do attitude; Process modeling skills (functional and operational) with experience in drawing and framing logical conclusions.
