Role Overview

In this customer-centric role, you will thrive in a high-ambiguity environment, operating autonomously while maintaining a customer-first approach. You will be the main point of contact for MongoDB end-users, leveraging technical and account management skills, and acting as the account team leader across Sales, Professional Services, Solutions Architects, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a strategic advisor to customers, providing guidance on MongoDB best practices and technology strategies.
  • Collect feedback and identify roadblocks from customers to inform internal teams, including Product, Professional Services, and Leadership.
  • Act as the link between customers and product engineering to develop new solutions.
  • De-escalate and resolve critical customer issues and complaints.
  • Build and execute account plans to mitigate risk and drive growth.
  • Lead executive business reviews for strategic customers, interfacing with C-suite executives and technical leaders.
  • Document all customer interactions in internal systems.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to leadership on key signals within MongoDB Atlas.
  • Manage relationships with Sales Leadership and Account Executives.
Requirements

We seek a highly experienced professional with:

  • 9+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, or similar roles.
  • 6+ years working in large enterprises or supporting them.
  • A background and passion for advocating on behalf of customers.
  • A mind for technology, with an aptitude and curiosity to learn about concepts.
  • The ability to act with autonomy, taking ownership of customer portfolios and making key decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships and delivering value to technical decision-makers, economic buyers, and executives.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to deviate from procedure and build new processes.
  • A team player with a passion for collaboration.
  • Technical product experience or education, software development experience preferred, certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience contributing to global CS programs.
Location

This role is based in Barcelona, with a hybrid working model.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of approximately €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
