About the Role:

The Partnership Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing partners, identifying new commercial opportunities, and driving market share growth and operational optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and updating partnership strategies to align with partner e-commerce goals
  • Delivering against agreed partnership goals, including building internal collaboration networks and securing support
  • Managing the primary interface between Ocado and partners for all relationship matters, including escalations
  • Ensuring partner satisfaction and profitability across Ocado's delivery of the Ocado Smart Platform
  • Pursuing opportunities to develop the partner relationship further, from creative idea generation to commercial negotiation and implementation

This role is based in Barcelona, Spain, and requires regular travel to Ocado offices in the UK.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification and solid relevant experience in a complex commercial environment, ideally with business development and P&L responsibility
  • Excellent data analysis and financial statement/P&L understanding
  • Strong commercial acumen, cross-functional team leadership, relationship building, and influencing skills
  • Commercial empathy and the ability to understand different commercial perspectives
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to facilitate multiple work streams simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

Native or fluent English and Spanish, with Catalan a plus. Experience in e-commerce, operations, technology projects, or industry roles, as well as consultancy business and partner-facing roles, is also desirable.
