Job Summary

The Sales Director for Channel Development will be responsible for driving the company's indirect sales strategy through a network of resellers, system integrators, and consulting partners. This role requires a creative, focused, well-organized, and highly-motivated individual who can proactively recruit new qualified partners, establish productive relationships, and assess partner needs to ensure successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively recruits new qualified partners and establishes productive relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs, gaps, and requirements on an ongoing basis to ensure successful business outcomes.
  • C coordinate with other company teams to deliver adequate partner training for business and technical skills.
  • Helps partners develop solutions for Denodo products to address client needs and further penetrate the market.
Partner Sales Planning and Execution

The Sales Director for Channel Development will lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. This role also involves coordinating the involvement of company personnel, including direct sales, marketing, support, services, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations.

General Partner Management

This role requires effective communication internally and externally to manage potential channel conflict and foster excellent relationships among partners and stakeholders. The Sales Director for Channel Development will also drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners, monitor their performance, and coach them to higher levels of success.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a similar role with a strong focus on indirect sales and channel development for a software product company.
  • Track record of achieving targets with partner recruitment, enablement, opportunity generation, and revenue growth.
