Technical Sales Specialist for Cybersecurity Solutions

Omniaccess is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Specialist to join our Customer Solutions Engineering team. Based out of Palma de Mallorca, you will be part of a competent and diverse team that drives the company's strategic objectives forward.
About the Role
The Technical Sales Specialist will be primarily responsible for actively supporting Account Managers to drive pipeline growth and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. You will articulate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences, identify technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process until handover to the operations department.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Account Managers to identify customer needs and provide technical solutions.
- Proposal Development: Contribute to proposals preparation, build bills of materials, and lead product demos.
- Customer Engagement: Provide technical support to customers and prospects, designing valuable solutions.
- Supplier Relationships: Stay updated on supplier offerings, leverage suppliers for solution specifications, and negotiate pricing.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, seek opportunities for growth, and keep customers informed about latest products and industry trends.
- Influencing Product Roadmap: Extract insights from customer and competitor data to design new solutions.
- Presentation and Proposal Skills: Create persuasive presentations, participate in industry events, and design proposals covering technical and commercial aspects.
- Sales Handover: Utilize defined processes to hand over concluded sales to the Project Management Team.
- Knowledge Sharing: Build competencies in relevant technical domains and create knowledge transfer initiatives within the team.
- Reporting: Regularly report status of set objectives and issues affecting their achievement.
Requirements
- Native or proficient command of English.
- Energy and curiosity to learn about technologies.
- Academic background in one of the following subjects: Cybersecurity, IT, Networking.
- Work experience within Cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and regulations.
- Ideal candidate holds relevant technical certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto, and other network and security solutions providers.
- Excellent communicator, speaking confidently about technology in front of diverse audiences.
- Essential can-do attitude and ability to prioritize work while under pressure.
- Able to travel when required.
- Resident or citizen of the EU, able to start employment at OmniAccess without requiring any visa or work-permit.
- Able to work onsite at our headquarters in Palma de Mallorca.
