Sales Operations Manager - Commercial Strategy

We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Manager to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales teams. As a key member of our global sales operations team, you'll collaborate closely with various functions to review, improve, and implement our sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the sales process component of the Sales Blueprint by reviewing the sales cycle and process, streamlining the sales process, and flagging problem areas.
  • Analyse data and use key metrics to measure effectiveness and uncover areas for improvement of the sales process.
  • Drive adoption and compliance of the concepts defined in Blueprint and implement a regular cycle of updating the blueprint sales process.
  • Maintain and support the process for the termination of our lowest tier of unmanaged accounts and sales compliance initiatives.
  • Review and establish the documentation and implementation of sales process exceptions and support ad-hoc initiatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in sales operations and process improvement in a B2B organization and/or travel industry.
  • Ability to think like a salesperson and understand the B2B sales process and the opportunities and challenges surrounding it.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex operations and data and effectively communicate this to leaders across all levels of our organization.
  • Knowledge of how to develop project plans, define timeframe, and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.
  • Drive to monitor progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications, and requirements.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus among internal teams and highly collaborative spirit.
  • Desire to both see and execute the bigger picture and get into the details of required activities.
  • Experience working in a large matrix organization with a fast pace of work and ability to manage complexity and competing priorities.
  • High energy and results-focused (short-term and long-term vision).
