Role Overview

Elanco is seeking a skilled sales and marketing representative to play a key role in driving growth and expansion of our animal health products in Extremadura and Centro-Oeste regions. As a sales and marketing representative, you will be responsible for implementing our sales strategy and sales plan to achieve Elanco's business goals and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Pet Health portfolio growth by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and sales revenue.
  • Manage key customer accounts in expansion markets, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead business development initiatives for Pet Health Accounts, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to capture them.
  • Ensure Sell out plans in Pet Health Accounts and sell in at distributor level, implementing all necessary marketing activities to drive sales growth.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and act on sales deviations on product or partner level, developing corrective actions to maintain sales momentum.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and key influencers to promote the Elanco brand and business goals.
  • Drive Elanco customer value selling skills programs in Pet Health, ensuring a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Monitor and track business results, adapting approach and strategies as necessary to achieve sales targets.

Requirements

  • Education background in Veterinary or Animal Science.
  • At least 3 years of expertise in vet clinics, pet-food, sales in the Animal Industry or technical veterinarian role.
  • English high level (spoken & written) and fluent Spanish.
  • Positive attitude and fit with Elanco Cultural Pillars.
  • Passion for the animal health industry.
  • Inquisitive and self-starting.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.

Location

Located in Extremadura / Centro-oeste, with regular travel required within Spain up to 75%.
