  1. As a key player in zooplus’s procurement team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with external vendors to support the company’s growth and success.

    • Vendor Management: Oversee aspects of vendor interactions, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and ongoing communication.
    • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margins, inventory turnover, and share to identify areas for improvement and optimize vendor performance.
    • Strategic Planning: Support the development and implementation of long-term strategies or Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned with the company’s overall objectives, market trends, and customer preferences.

  2. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

    • Contract Management: Monitor and enforce compliance with contract terms, including service level agreements (SLAs), delivery schedules, and pricing agreements.
    • Supplier Management: Manage the relationship with suppliers in areas such as promotions, marketing, and assortment.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams, including marketing, sales, pricing, operations, and finance, to align category strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.

    • Pricing and Promotion: Work together with the sales and pricing departments to maximize revenue and profitability through the analysis of competitive landscape and consumer behavior.
    • Assortment Planning: Select and manage the assortment of products to meet customer demand and drive sales.
    • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of products for suppliers, from introduction to retirement, including new product development, inventory management, and clearance strategies.
