About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Associate Account Manager to join our team at Expedia, Inc. As an Associate Account Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and developing a high level of engagement with our Vacation Rental Hosts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with Hosts to improve their productivity and results within our marketplace.
  2. Maximize the production potential in our marketplace by utilizing and sharing unique data insights, marketing, distribution, and revenue management tools with Hosts.
  3. Drive the success of Vacation Rental Hosts on our platform through high-volume outbound calls and persuasive communication.
  4. Establish performance goals with partners, develop action plans, and secure commitment for adoption/usage.
  5. Optimize content, rate, and availability to maximize booking conversion.
  6. Manage a large volume of clients through multiple consultations daily.
  7. Understand key demand/supply indicators, economic data, trends, and competitive information within the designated strategic market.
  8. Pitch additional relevant products to existing customers or prospects.
  9. May include (up to 20%) travel for in-person consultations.

Requirements:

  1. You are a German native speaker, or you have a bilingual/proficient level of German, plus you are fluent in English.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field; or equivalent professional work experience.
  3. 2 to 4 years of sales, client services, or account management experience.
  4. Knowledge of the vacation rental industry is a plus.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  6. Knowledge of SalesForce or other CRM systems and Tableau or other BI platforms.
  7. An affinity for action and self-initiative.
  8. Strong client communication skills (both verbal and written).
  9. Superb organization and time management skills, self-discipline.
  10. A results-focused and metrics-driven mindset.
  11. Demonstrated ability to balance a variety of activities to drive a high-volume of partner interaction.
  12. Ability to interpret performance, market and competitor data analysis and implement impactful action plans based on the data.
  13. A reputation for follow-up and persistence in challenging situations.
  14. Authentic relationship skills that earn the confidence of others.
