About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Strategy Director to lead our commercial strategy and drive growth through partnerships, merchant acquisition, and sales initiatives. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our commercial roadmap, aligning it with business objectives to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute PayRetailers' commercial strategy, identifying new market opportunities, merchant segments, and innovative business models to accelerate growth.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team to achieve aggressive growth targets, focusing on merchant acquisition, retention, and expansion. Oversee go-to-market strategies for new products and services, ensuring alignment with merchant needs and market trends.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in Sales roles, fintech or financial services
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including the C-suite
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, financial, and commercial acumen
  • Existing solid portfolio of clients in the payments industry
  • Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem, including digital payments, payment gateway solutions or other financial technologies

  • $120,000 - $180,000 annual salary depending on experience
