Job Overview

The Alpega Group, a leading software company in the transportation management industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Growth Ambassador. This role will be part of the Sales team, focusing on driving business growth and expansion.

We are a fast-growing company with over 35 years of experience in providing modular solutions for end-to-end transportation management. Our flagship product, Alpega TMS, is a top 5 Transportation Management System (TMS) provider, supporting over 200,000 users in 80 countries.

About the Role

As a Sales Growth Ambassador, you will be responsible for conducting lead generation activities to maximize market exposure and identify new opportunities. Your tasks will include:

  • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads via phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns
  • Generating target marketing lists for discussion and agreement with sales prior to any Direct Marketing Communications and Sales activities
  • Employing innovative techniques to secure new accounts and participate in the first portion of the sales cycle by building relationships with key decision makers
  • Collections and analyzing potential customer's financial information, critical business processes, and system needs
  • Identifying and qualifying their project needs, budget, timelines, business issues, and obstacles for hand-off to the Sales Executive

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience selling SaaS products
  • A professional, ambitious, determined, persistent, and results-oriented mindset
  • At least 3 years of successful sales or lead development experience
  • Native or near-native level of French
  • Good command of English
  • Understanding of the software/IT industry and transportation logistics requirements (ideal but not mandatory)
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-starter who can work independently as well as in a collaborative manner to achieve team goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in active listening, effective telephone skills
  • Demonstrated sales aptitude with relentlessly high standards and the desire to proceed on with a sales career

Salary Range

$70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
