Job Description Summary

The Senior Technical Sales Manager EMEA will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction in the region. This role will work closely with Sales Managers, Global Key Account Managers, Marketing, and R&D functions to penetrate key customers, build on Elementis' brand image, and drive new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and lead technical expertise in the EMEA region to drive business objectives and fast-track new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technology, marketing, and sales teams to resolve technical issues, develop technical relationships with customers, and introduce the Elementis value proposition.
  • Understand customer strategic direction, pains, and gains, and introduce the Elementis value proposition to support their plans.
  • Drive and identify product innovation to ensure market needs, customer expectations, and regulatory standards are met.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs for internal teams and customers to communicate Elementis' products value proposition.
  • Identify and line-up new business opportunities in line with the business strategy, aligning internal technical expertise with customer needs to drive new project development and support sales and marketing initiatives.

Job Competencies

  • Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of product formulation in the personal care sector, understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Leadership: Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams, strategic thinking and vision to align technical efforts with company goals, mentorship capabilities to support team members' development.
  • Collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales.
