About the Role
As a Senior Renewals Sales Representative at Bmc Software, you will be responsible for managing software subscription renewals across our customer base. This role requires building strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless renewal process, identify expansion opportunities, and contribute to overall customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive the renewals process for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate renewals of contracts.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and advocating for their success.
- Identify and address potential risks to ensure high retention and renewals.
- Collaborate with account managers, customer success, and support teams to develop strategies that deliver value to customers.
- Negotiate renewal contracts and pricing, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and company goals.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of renewal status and pipeline activities.
- Provide insights and feedback to product and customer success teams to enhance customer experience.
- Stay current on company product offerings, industry trends, and customer requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years previous experience in sales, specifically software maintenance renewals, is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle and Salesforce.Com applications.
