Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Conference Executive to become a vital part of the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will take charge of the planning, coordination, and execution of all conferences and events hosted at our venue.

  • Collaborate with clients to identify their conference objectives, budget constraints, and specific requirements.
  • Create comprehensive event plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the planning process and on the event day.
  • Prepare and oversee budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and align with client expectations while achieving financial targets.
  • Work together to devise and implement promotional strategies aimed at attracting clients and maximizing event bookings.
  • Conduct site visits and consultations with clients to tailor their experience.
  • Perform post-event evaluations to assess success, gather client feedback, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Uphold high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, luxury events, or within a Sales & Marketing department.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and foster a positive atmosphere among team members, guests, and colleagues.
  • Innovative thinker with insightful problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ownership of critical issues, with the ability to make effective decisions.
  • Quick learner who adapts seamlessly to the unique culture of SLS.
