Drive Revenue Growth as a Group Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced Group Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and achieve top-line goals for our hotels. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to join our team and make a significant impact.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for soliciting business from all segments, including new and existing clients. They will work closely with hotel General Managers and Leadership to develop competitive sales strategies and stay ahead of market trends. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and marketing skills, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities from small business accounts, reader boards, and internal referral mechanisms.
  • Develop and execute property internal mining efforts to assigned hotels.
  • Work with Property Sales Leader (ASL or DOS/DOSM) to identify key buyers within each account and coordinate efforts to drive demand and pull-through business.
  • Manage daily Status Change reports to help close on hotel business.
  • Collaborate with Local Sales, U.S. Account Sales/GSO teams to drive production from targeted high-priority accounts.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with:

High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area.OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.Preferred: 4-year college degree; previous experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality and sales discipline; knowledge of property-specific business segments (e.g. group, catering, transient); knowledge of the hospitality industry.Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
