About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Front Office Agent to join our team at Fairmont La Hacienda. In this role, you will be responsible for managing reservations, welcoming guests, and ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, using their name whenever possible.
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and personalized manner.
- Manage reservations accurately, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide detailed information about hotel amenities and services, promoting upselling opportunities.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, promoting cross-functional teamwork.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized, adhering to high standards of hospitality.
- Process billing and payment accurately, handling special requests and arrangements for guests.
- Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality at all times, adhering to data protection protocols.
- Conduct regular training and meetings with the reception team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a dynamic can-do attitude. Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as the ability to multitask and work under pressure. A post-secondary education in Hospitality or equivalent is a plus, but not mandatory.
