About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Solutions Strategist to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Solutions Strategist, you will work closely with our Enterprise customers and AWS teams to craft cloud-based solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the technical strategy alongside sales and business development to delight our Enterprise customers through a deep relationship with AWS.
- Partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community, including authoring or otherwise contributing to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blogs.
Requirements
- Strong customer-facing skills to represent Amazon well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company.
- Techincal background to easily interact and give guidance to software developers and architects.
- Ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
- Self-motivated with a hunger to share knowledge, continue to learn, and lead the industry in designing cloud-based architectures.
