Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Contracting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers within a geographical area to deliver effective provision of multiple transportation services. This role requires strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and establish relationships with suppliers in a portfolio of transportation suppliers
- Negotiate the best possible conditions, ensuring suppliers have a clear understanding of our value proposition and marketing tools to maximize their performance and competitiveness
- Deliver contracts across a geographical area, in line with internal contract cycle deadlines
- Ensure all contracts meet internal governance, audit and compliance frameworks
- Manage suppliers effectively, being the main point of contact within the geographical region for all commercial matters, contracts, promos, contract amendments etc.
Requirements
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders
- Experienced with proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Solid experience in negotiating agreements and conditions with suppliers
- Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships with individuals and partners using an open and consultative approach
- Highly developed communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
