Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Life Sciences team at Tebubio. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing business in Spain, particularly in Catalonia, by engaging with researchers, laboratory managers, life sciences academia, and procurement managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Business in Assigned Existing Accounts
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all client concerns and needs.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the right solutions for customers and enhance processes to prevent additional issues.
    • Strengthen client relationships to establish long-term partnerships, develop contracts, and explore up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Acquire New Business
    • Define a strategy, with guidance from the Sales Manager, to acquire assigned accounts.
    • Initiate contacts with relevant stakeholders in the assigned accounts.
    • Drive the sales process by scheduling appointments, understanding account requirements, and closing sales.
  • Market and Customer Watch
    • Contribute to identifying industry trends through customer feedback and collaboration with internal teams.
    • Attend relevant conferences across Europe in collaboration with our European Event Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in biology/biomedical sciences/health sciences or any related degree. Preferably RNA & Nucleic Acid, Cell & Gene Therapy, Immuno-Oncology, and/or Bioproduction knowledge.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • 2/3 years' sales experience is mandatory.
  • Soft skills: autonomy, results-orientation, customer focus, perseverance, ability to work with multiple and varied contacts, communication skills, proactivity.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is essential.
