Clinical Territory Sales Representative for Cardiac Ablation Solutions in Basque Country

About the Role
A clinical territory sales representative opportunity has arisen within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Team at Medtronic, covering the Basque Country territory. Located in Bilbao, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing CAS business with existing and new customers in line with the Iberia Business Manager and business strategies in your defined sales territory. Key objectives include meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets while enhancing Medtronic's reputation in the market.
Responsibilities
• Analyze the marketplace to develop an effective territory/account sales strategy, present it to management for approval, and implement accordingly.
• Maximize sales by performing activities from product introduction to contract negotiation, identifying key decision-makers, and reporting on them through provided systems and personally to the district manager regularly.
• Increase penetration in existing accounts, develop new product therapies/patient therapies, and identify non-buying accounts to be developed.
• Provide technical support to customers, ensure stock levels are controlled according to asset management guidelines, and plan and prepare sales forecasts for the territory.
• Regularly update account, market, and competitive information and trends in a comprehensive and timely fashion, and carry out all necessary administrative duties and reports.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in the Spanish language is essential due to the geographic location of the position in Bilbao, Spain. Experience working in the medical device industry, particularly in cardiology, would be highly beneficial.
Salary Information
We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around €60,000 - €80,000 based on national averages for similar positions in Spain, considering the candidate's experience and qualifications. This figure includes a basic salary component and potential additional performance-based incentives. The final compensation package will be determined during the hiring process and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
