We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at North America Trans. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer interactions, including fostering relationships and closing deals
- Use CRM to identify, call, and track prospects to gain core and strategic customer opportunities
- Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week
- Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations
- Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts
- Co-ordinate quotes with Sales Coordinator and facilitate the transition of new customers to Account Executive/Account Manager
- Build a winning deal team using the right internal resources and lead and collaborate with International Air, Ocean Rail, and account management teams to develop a tailored solution
- Partner with customers to gather information on their needs and offer tailored solutions based on the CHR platform to win business
- Manage conflict and navigate difficult conversations with customers or internal partners
- Build and deliver proposals, tailoring each presentation to the customer
- Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder
- Minimum 4 years experience in account management or sales
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
- Self-driven, results-orientated individual with 'hunter' mentality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
