About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at North America Trans. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer interactions, including fostering relationships and closing deals
  • Use CRM to identify, call, and track prospects to gain core and strategic customer opportunities
  • Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week
  • Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations
  • Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts
  • Co-ordinate quotes with Sales Coordinator and facilitate the transition of new customers to Account Executive/Account Manager
  • Build a winning deal team using the right internal resources and lead and collaborate with International Air, Ocean Rail, and account management teams to develop a tailored solution
  • Partner with customers to gather information on their needs and offer tailored solutions based on the CHR platform to win business
  • Manage conflict and navigate difficult conversations with customers or internal partners
  • Build and deliver proposals, tailoring each presentation to the customer
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder
  • Minimum 4 years experience in account management or sales
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
  • Self-driven, results-orientated individual with 'hunter' mentality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
