Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Product Specialist to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany. As a key member of our Credit and Risk Solutions commercial team, you will play a critical role in helping our Sales Specialists monetize and leverage our credit capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Establish relationships with Sales Specialists and Product Managers to diagnose, design, and deliver credit workflow solutions for the European market.
- Align with Commercial and Product strategy for credit products and execute high-level pre-sales and post-sales implementation plans.
- Serve as a credit product matter expert across functional groups, demonstrating excellence across our credit capabilities.
- Help clients establish robust frameworks for integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into their credit assessment frameworks.
- Develop campaigns and initiatives for driving revenue growth for segment-specific sales and assist in client retention work around credit products.
- Stay well-connected to strategic credit customers in the market and collaborate internally to design and deliver credit training on appropriate products.
- Undertake thought-leadership pieces, speakerships at relevant conferences, and SPGMI credit webinars, possessing keen awareness of competitors and relative strengths.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts, assist in RFPs, and test cases for regulatory requirements such as IFRS9.
- Strong grasp of credit risk management and in-depth understanding of complex client credit risk workflows across multiple segments.
- Ability to interact confidently with the team, prospects, and clients, as well as cross-functional teams within the organization.
- Ability to solve complex problems and adopt a new perspective using expert judgment.
- Possession of exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and a strong desire to succeed.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in credit and risk management, with strong Excel skills and credit modeling capabilities.
- Fluency in the German language is essential.
