As a Credit Product Specialist in our Europe team, you will play a critical role in helping Sales Specialists monetize and leverage our credit capabilities. You will provide significant knowledge of credit risk management, including quantitative market signal models and qualitative credit assessment scorecards, to serve our clients in managing complex credit risk management issues.
The ImpactThe Credit and Risk Solutions business is a significant contributor to the overall growth of the Market Intelligence Division. Our product suite is a critical piece of this growth story, and the role of the Credit Product Specialist is critical to its success. In an increasingly complex and competitive environment, credit products cannot be sold without the expertise of the Credit Product Specialist.
Responsibilities- Establish relationships with Sales Specialists and Product Managers to help diagnose, distill, design, and deliver credit workflow solutions specifically to the European market.
- Align with Commercial and Product strategy for credit products and execute high-level pre-sales and post-sales implementation plans.
- Serve as a credit product matter expert across functional groups.
- Demonstrate excellence across SPGMI credit capabilities.
- Help clients establish robust frameworks for integrating ESG factors into their Credit Assessment frameworks.
- Develop campaigns and initiatives for driving revenue growth for segment-specific sales and assist in client retention work around credit products.
- Stay well connected to strategic credit customers in the market.
- Collaborate internally to help design and deliver credit training on appropriate products.
- Undertake thought-leadership pieces, speakerships at relevant conferences, and SPGMI credit webinars.
- Possess keen awareness of competitors and relative strengths.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts, assist in RFPs, and test cases for regulatory requirements such as IFRS9.
We are seeking a strong grasp of credit risk management, in-depth understanding of complex client credit risk workflows, and ability to interact confidently with the team, prospects, and clients. You should be able to solve complex problems, adopt a new perspective using expert judgment, and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed and a positive outlook. You should be able to work well under pressure and to multi-task, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience in credit and risk management.
