We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Product Specialist to join our team at S&P Global, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global market leader and contribute to the success of our Credit and Risk Solutions business.
The Team:Our team is a focused and dynamic group of experts who are passionate about credit risk management and product development. We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm and is eager to learn and grow with us.
The Impact:The Credit Product Specialist will play a critical role in helping our Sales Specialists monetize and leverage our credit capabilities. This includes providing expertise on credit risk management, credit workflows, and credit modeling. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of complex client credit risk workflows and be able to interact confidently with our team, prospects, and clients.
Responsibilities:- Establish relationships with Sales Specialists and Product Managers to help diagnose, distill, design, and deliver credit workflow solutions specifically to the European market.
- Align with Commercial and Product strategy for credit products and execute high-level pre-sales and post-sales implementation plans.
- Serve as a credit product matter expert across functional groups.
- Demonstrate excellence across S&P Global credit capabilities.
- Help clients establish robust frameworks for integrating ESG factors into their Credit Assessment frameworks and understand the potential impact of ESG on their credit portfolios.
- Develop campaigns and initiatives for driving revenue growth for segment-specific sales and assist in client retention work around credit products.
- Stay well connected to strategic credit customers in the market.
- Collaborate internally to help design and deliver credit training on appropriate product.
- Undertake thought-leadership pieces, speakerships at relevant conferences, and S&P Global credit webinars.
- Possess keen awareness of competitors and relative strengths.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts, assist in RFPs, and test cases for regulatory requirements such as IFRS9.
We are looking for a strong grasp of credit risk management, in-depth understanding of complex client credit risk workflows, and ability to interact confidently with our team, prospects, and clients. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant industry experience in credit and risk management, be fluent in the German language, and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
