Global Process Owner Credit Risk Management & Net Working Capital Specialist

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. We are seeking a highly skilled Global Process Owner Credit Risk Management & Net Working Capital Specialist to join our GF_Finance & Controlling, Accounting team in Spain.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead transformation initiatives in credit risk management, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Assess and design credit risk management technology, collaborating with IT and key users to define standard SAP credit management templates.
  • Formulate and propose changes to the global credit risk management framework, ensuring its operationalization and effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities in credit risk management processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Track and report progress of implementation, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support the establishment of a central credit risk management team, providing expertise and guidance to local legal entities.
  • Assess and manage global service contracts for credit risk management, including external credit rating agencies.
  • Evaluate high-value credit limit requests, providing recommendations to Division CFOs and Group CFO.
  • Collaborate with the Head Group Trade Finance on trade finance projects and initiatives, as well as Net Working Capital projects.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Finance or Economics is a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, with functional knowledge of implementing credit risk modules in SAP and M365.
  • Solid knowledge of Order to Cash processes, with understanding of Procure to Pay processes desired.
  • Experience in an industrial company is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to deliver key insights to leadership and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English.
