About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Management Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Credit and Risk Solutions commercial team, you will be responsible for helping Sales Specialists monetize and leverage our credit capabilities.

The Impact

The C&RS business is a significant contributor to the overall growth of the Market Intelligence Division. As a Credit Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in the success of the business, providing expertise and credibility to the sales and retention process.

Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with Sales Specialists and Product Managers to help diagnose, distill, design, and deliver credit workflow solutions specifically to the European market.
  • Align with Commercial and Product strategy for credit products and execute high-level pre-sales and post-sales implementation plans.
  • Serve as a credit product matter expert across functional groups.
  • Demonstrate excellence across SPGMI credit capabilities.
  • Help clients establish robust frameworks for integrating ESG factors into their Credit Assessment frameworks and understand the potential impact of ESG on their credit portfolios.
  • Develop campaigns and initiatives for driving revenue growth for segment-specific sales and assist in client retention work around credit products.
  • Stay well connected to strategic credit customers in the market.
  • Collaborate internally to help design and deliver credit training on appropriate products.
  • Undertake thought-leadership pieces, speakerships at relevant conferences, and SPGMI credit webinars.
  • Possess keen awareness of competitors and relative strengths.
  • Conduct Proof of Concepts, assist in RFPs, and test cases for regulatory requirements such as IFRS9.
What We're Looking For
  • A strong grasp of credit risk management.
  • An in-depth understanding of complex client credit risk workflows ideally across multiple segments (Corporates, Commercial and Investment Banking, Insurance, and Investment Management).
  • The ability to interact confidently with the team, prospects, and clients as well as cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • The ability to solve complex problems and, when necessary, adopt a new perspective using expert judgment.
  • Possession of exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation, with a strong desire to succeed and a positive outlook.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in credit and risk management.
  • Someone strong in Excel and has credit modeling capabilities.
