The Key Account Manager Poultry plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and fostering strategic relationships within the poultry industry. As part of our dynamic Sales team based in Spain, this individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking information on Phibro's portfolio of products and solutions. Key responsibilities include leading demand generation activities, providing technical support, and collaborating with local distributors to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead demand generation activities to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin targets
• Provide technical support to customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of products
• Collaborate with local distributors for demand creation, technical service, training, and sales support
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activity, providing guidance to Species Business Managers as needed
• Attend customer events and connect with relevant Key Opinion Leaders
• Strengthen relationships by following strategic account management principles and behaviors
• Inform customers about Phibro's pricing policy and other relevant business information
• Plan and forecast customer demand to anticipate supply requirements and ensure a positive customer experience
• Comply with Phibro's policies and lead with a high level of integrity
• Perform other duties as may be assigned based on business needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary medicine, Nutritional science, or other relevant field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in animal health and established poultry network
• Commercial acumen with technical orientation (poultry field technical experience preferred)
• Ability to self-manage daily activities and responsibilities
• Teamwork mindset to connect with European and global colleagues
• Conversational English level
Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus benefits
