About Phibro Animal Health Corporation, a leading manufacturer of medicated feed additives and advanced nutrition solutions for the poultry industry. We're seeking an experienced Poultry Industry Sales Professional to join our team in Spain.
Job Overview
The Key Account Manager Poultry will act as a point of contact for customers requiring information and guidance about Phibro's portfolio. This role focuses on creating sustainable business growth in Western Europe, particularly within the poultry sector. The KAM Poultry will lead demand generation activities, provide technical support, and work closely with local distributors to drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Lead demand generation activities in the assigned territory associated with this role.
- Provide support to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin for Phibro products in the assigned territory.
- Offer technical support for customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of products.
- Support local distributors for demand creation, technical service, training, and sales support as required to drive the sale of products.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity in the assigned area and provide guidance to the appropriate Species Business Manager.
- Attend customer events and connect with relevant Key Opinion Leaders.
- Strengthen relationships by following strategic account management principles and behaviors.
- Inform customers about Phibro's pricing policy and other relevant business information.
- Plan and forecast customer demand to anticipate supply requirements and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Comply with Phibro's policies and lead with a high level of integrity.
Requirements:
This role requires a Degree in Veterinary medicine, Nutritional or other relevant animal science degree, along with a minimum 10 years of experience in animal health and established poultry network. Commercial acumen with technical orientation (poultry field technical experience preferred) is essential. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are also necessary, as well as excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
Salary: Estimated salary range €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
