About Software International, a leading provider of technical talent to top clients globally. We are seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager for our global IT M&A client in the Toronto area.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 as base salary + bonus + benefits + other great company perks. Total OTEs for this role are approximately 160-180k.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership team members across the organization to manage diverse projects spanning various areas.
  • Conduct thorough industry and trend research, market analysis, and market sizing to address business challenges.
  • Analyze competitor data to provide strategic insights based on market research and industry reports.
  • Create insightful reports and dashboards to consolidate key findings and provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making.
  • Develop and implement standardized KPIs to help evaluate key metrics across the portfolio of businesses.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and analyze data to provide actionable business insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, economics, engineering, mathematics, philosophy, or related fields.
  • 5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to derive and deliver key insights from data.
  • High-level competency of data visualization tools (Power BI is a plus) and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for effective reporting.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships at the executive level.
