About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team at the Hampton by Hilton Hotel in Malaga City.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management, with a strong background in extended stay accommodation and serviced apartments.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, driving a great sales culture, and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive budgeted results across all revenue channels.
  2. Drive a great sales culture for hotel team to thrive, connecting departments to create a sense of one team.
  3. Create and maintain relationships with key clients across all market segments, growing account value in accordance with budgeted figures.
  4. Effectively manage time and resources, making client visits, arranging and hosting FAM trips, client show rounds, tele sales, and email campaigns.
  5. Attend trade shows and major market events locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities.
  6. Work closely with key business leaders, officials, and representatives of local community groups within the city to ensure constant high-profile exposure for the hotel.
  7. Identify improvements to marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance.
  8. Work with the hotel and Hilton team to ensure all content is up to date on all marketing channels, creating innovative and regular content/updates to ensure maximum exposure is achieved.
  9. Coordinate PR activities and deliver high-quality marketing campaigns, leading in planning, executing, and managing them across digital platforms and print channels.
Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department with strong experience in extended stays accommodation/serviced apartments.
  2. Very valuable previous experience at Hilton.
  3. Well informed about the local market and extended stay market, and therefore have the ability to secure business from both national & international clients.
  4. A drive for sales generation, networking, building reputations, and identifying new opportunities within social and corporate markets.
  5. A proven track record of success within this or a similar position with an innovative approach and the ability to react to change.
  6. Fluent in Spanish & English is a must.
