Job Overview

MediaMonks is in search of a Social Lead, who will be instrumental in overseeing extensive social media initiatives and creative projects. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication abilities, identifies areas for improvement, and develops efficient processes while leading by example. You are a seasoned professional in social media management, adept at handling social media assets. Your interpersonal skills and positive demeanor enable you to effectively organize and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

This role involves collaboration with a dedicated team for our major client accounts, requiring client-facing experience and a focus on streamlining social media efforts across the Nordics and Benelux regions.

Key Responsibilities


• Strategically manage all social media channels for our automotive client, enhancing their value through comprehensive content and channel strategies, campaign execution, and other digital projects.


• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with market clients, ensuring that connections at all levels are nurtured within the team.


• Deliver high-quality work efficiently and cost-effectively, with an emphasis on effective processes. Ensure that final deliverables align with the project timeline, client strategy, brand identity, and creative objectives.


• Oversee tracking, communication, and negotiation of timelines, budgets, assets, goals, and expectations with stakeholders and global teams.


• Focus on the long-term stability and growth of client relationships and revenue beyond immediate project needs.


• Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish the most effective strategic approach for projects.

Financial Oversight


• Drive growth and investment strategies to meet account revenue and profitability targets.


• Work collaboratively with markets to achieve desired profitability in social media initiatives.


• Identify and leverage business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management


• Build trust and foster positive relationships with clients.


• Collaborate with Business, Program, and Operations leads to identify challenges and propose solutions.

Team Leadership & Development


• Mentor and manage a team of direct reports, conducting performance reviews and coaching to maximize success.


• Identify training needs and set career development goals, ensuring that team members are engaged in meaningful projects that promote skill development.


• Provide training on best practices and principles of social media and the broader industry.


• Participate in the recruitment process for junior team members.


• Guide the team in setting project goals and timelines, ensuring challenging yet appropriate projects for skill enhancement.

Qualifications


• Proficient in English, with native or high-level fluency.


• A minimum of 7 years of experience in brand marketing, social media management, digital marketing, or production, showcasing exceptional stress management and communication skills.


• Experience in the automotive sector and familiarity with Nordic culture is advantageous.


• Strong understanding of marketing principles, particularly in social media and digital marketing, encompassing strategy, content creation, and paid media.


• Ability to comprehend clients' business challenges and devise strategies to address them.


• Proven capacity to build and maintain relationships with senior clients, becoming a trusted marketing partner.


• Insight into traditional industries and their potential for transformation.


• Strong aptitude for identifying new opportunities within existing client relationships and formulating strategies for growth.


• Comfortable working across different time zones globally.


• Proficient with data, media, and analytics.


• Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire collaboration.


• Excellent communication skills that ensure clarity and persuasiveness in client interactions.
