About the Position
We are seeking a Social Media Insights Analyst to develop and oversee analytics solutions that transform data into impactful insights. This role requires a solid foundation in data and business analysis, along with strong analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities. If you possess business insight and a knack for problem-solving, we would like to connect with you. Your primary goal will be to enhance our business intelligence framework to facilitate informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications.
- Act as a marketing analytics partner, providing the marketing team with insights derived from their social media accounts and social listening efforts.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover narratives within the metrics, delivering insights through comprehensive analysis of diverse data sources, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Generate weekly insights reports.
- Collaborate with both local and international multicultural teams to merge strategic and creative processes.
- Engage closely with external suppliers, third-party vendors, agencies, and relevant networks.
- Design and execute database queries and perform analyses.
- Create visual representations and reports for various projects.
- Examine extensive data to identify trends and patterns.
Qualifications
- Experience in Digital and Social Media (Social Listening or Business Intelligence).
- In-depth understanding of Social Media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).
- Familiarity with Social Media Listening Tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker) is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant industry experience is essential.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Understanding of Branding, Marketing, and Research Communication.
- Knowledge of BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and innovate.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Familiarity with SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., VBA macros, Python, JavaScript) for automating analysis and reporting processes is highly valued.
- Expertise in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) with the ability to create interactive, user-friendly, and engaging dashboards and reports.
