Job Overview

MediaMonks is on the lookout for a Social Media Strategist with a strong background in managing extensive social media and creative initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and documentation abilities, identify areas for improvement, establish efficient processes, and lead by example. A genuine enthusiasm for social media, a commitment to staying informed about the latest trends (social, technological, cultural, etc.), and a drive for excellence are essential.

You are a professional well-versed in social media asset management, with a friendly demeanor and the capability to organize and influence individuals both within and outside the organization.

This role will be integral to a dedicated team focused on our major client accounts, requiring client-facing experience, while collaborating closely with our social media hub to streamline all social initiatives and oversee the Nordics and Benelux regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage all social media channels for our automotive partner, enhancing their value through content and channel strategy, campaign execution, and various digital projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with market clients, ensuring that client interactions at all levels are nurtured within the team.
  • Deliver high-quality work in a timely and cost-effective manner, emphasizing efficient processes across the team. Ensure that final deliverables align with the brief timeline, client strategy, brand objectives, and our quality standards.
  • Oversee tracking, communication, and negotiation of timelines, budgets, assets, goals, and expectations with stakeholders and global teams.
  • Focus on long-term stability and growth of client relationships and revenue, looking beyond immediate project needs.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to determine the best strategic approach for projects.

Financial Oversight

  • Drive growth and investment strategies to meet account revenue and profitability targets.
  • Work with markets to achieve desired profitability in social media initiatives.
  • Identify and activate new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build trust and foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with the Business Lead, Program Lead, and Operations Lead to identify challenges and propose solutions.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and manage a team of direct reports, conducting performance reviews and coaching for success.
  • Identify training needs for improved performance and set career development goals.
  • Provide education on best practices, social media principles, and industry trends.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for junior team members.
  • Guide the team in setting goals and project timelines, ensuring members are engaged in challenging projects that promote skill development.

Qualifications

  • Fluent or native English speaker.
  • 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, social media management, digital marketing, or production, demonstrating strong stress management and communication skills.
  • Experience in the automotive sector and familiarity with Nordic culture is advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of marketing principles, with a focus on social media and digital marketing strategies, content creation, and paid media.
  • Adept at recognizing clients' business challenges and formulating strategies to address them.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with senior clients, becoming their trusted marketing partner.
  • Understanding of traditional industries and opportunities for transformation.
  • Strong capability to identify new opportunities within existing client relationships and devise strategies for expansion.
  • Comfortable working across different time zones globally.
  • Proficient with data, media, and analytics.
  • Exemplary leadership skills that inspire collaboration.
  • Outstanding communication skills that ensure clarity and impact in client interactions.
