Job Overview

MediaMonks is on the lookout for a Social Media Strategist with a strong background in managing extensive social media and creative initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication and documentation abilities, identifies opportunities for improvement, develops effective processes, and leads by example. A genuine enthusiasm for social media, a commitment to staying informed about the latest trends (in social, technology, culture, etc.), and a drive for excellence are essential.

You are a social media expert with a proven track record in managing social media assets. Your interpersonal skills and positive demeanor enable you to effectively organize and influence individuals both within and outside the organization.

This role is integral to a dedicated team focused on our largest client accounts, requiring client-facing experience and collaboration with our social media hub to streamline efforts across the Nordics and Benelux regions.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead all social media channels for our automotive partner, enhancing their value through comprehensive content and channel strategies, campaign execution, and various digital projects.


• Cultivate and maintain relationships with market clients, ensuring that connections at all levels are nurtured within the team.


• Deliver high-quality work in a timely and cost-effective manner, focusing on efficient processes across the team. Ensure that final deliverables align with project timelines, client strategies, brand goals, and our quality standards.


• Manage tracking, communication, and negotiation of timelines, budgets, assets, goals, and expectations with stakeholders and global teams.


• Look beyond immediate tasks to ensure the long-term stability and growth of client relationships and revenue.


• Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish the best strategic approach for projects.

Financial Oversight


• Drive growth and investment decisions to meet account revenue and profitability objectives.


• Collaborate with markets to achieve desired profitability in social media.


• Identify and activate new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management


• Build trust and establish positive relationships with clients.


• Work alongside the Business lead, Program lead, and Operations lead to identify challenges and propose solutions.

Team Leadership & Development


• Mentor, manage, and develop a team of direct reports.


• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching for success, identify training needs, and set career development goals.


• Offer education and training on best practices, social media principles, and industry trends.


• Participate in the recruitment process for junior team members.


• Guide the team in setting goals and project timelines, ensuring members are engaged in appropriate projects that foster skill development and contribute to overall success.

Qualifications


• Native or proficient in English.


• Over 7 years of experience in brand marketing, social media management, digital marketing, or production, enabling you to handle stress effectively and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.


• Experience in the automotive sector and familiarity with Nordic culture is advantageous.


• Strong understanding of marketing principles with a focus on social media and digital marketing strategies, content creation, and paid media.


• Ability to comprehend clients' business challenges and formulate strategies to address them.


• Capacity to build and maintain relationships with senior clients, becoming their trusted marketing advisor.


• Knowledge of traditional industries and potential for transformation.


• Strong ability to identify new opportunities within existing client relationships and develop strategies for growth.


• Comfortable working across different time zones globally.


• Proficient with data, media, and analytics.


• Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire collaboration.


• Excellent communication skills that ensure clarity and impact in messaging to client partners.
