IT Specialist Job Description

The Adler Pelzer Group is a global leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of acoustic and thermal components and systems for the automotive sector. With over 15,000 employees and approximately 100 manufacturing and R&D facilities, we deliver to all major car brands worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to support our plant in Olmedo, Spain. This role will provide direct support to office and production users, managing standard systems, both hardware and software. The IT Specialist will report to the Country IT Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth IT operations across our manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide user support and resolve technical issues
  • Prepare and image hardware, as well as install and configure software
  • Manage assets and perform periodic checklists and maintenance
  • Set up low-level switching (VLAN) and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proficiency in using ticketing systems for incident management and tracking
  • Familiarity with imaging systems like SCCM for hardware preparation and software deployment
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with asset management systems and inventory tracking
  • Basic understanding of networking principles and low-level switching (VLAN) setups
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and local language
