Key Account Manager

At British American Tobacco, we're on a mission to decrease the health impact of our industry. We're looking for a talented Key Account Manager to join our team in Madrid and help us achieve our ambition.
About the RoleAs a Key Account Manager, you'll be responsible for growing our distribution channels and securing new clients and FMCG groups. You'll work closely with our suppliers to manage budgets and orders, and present our products in various forums and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies to secure new business and expand our distribution channels
- Manage budgets and orders with suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
- Present our products in various forums and activities, including post-implementation reviews and tactic plans
- Ensure our database is up-to-date and aligned with company requirements
- Collaborate with other departments, including Brand, Trade, Activation, and Supply, to ensure successful new product launches and brand updates
- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including environmental protection, safety at work, and fire protection
- At least 3 years' experience in a new business and key accounts role
- FMCG experience with a trade channel and account management approach
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically
- Problem-solving and proactive skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions
- Strategic vision and execution skills, with a focus on delivering results
