Facilities Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at Alstom in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona). As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our installations and general services management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise the tasks carried out by the maintenance team and external contractors, ensuring the quality and timeliness of the work performed.
- Plan and coordinate renovation, repair, and improvement projects for facilities, including electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and structures.
- Manage general services, including cleaning, security, catering, and other support services, to ensure a high level of service quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, industrial safety, health, and environmental regulations, and manage the budget of the facilities and general services department.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and solve potential problems, and participate in the negotiation and renewal of contracts with suppliers.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and facility safety, and collaborate with other departments to support daily operations and general maintenance and service requirements.
- Maintain updated records of all maintenance activities, general services, and legal control, and develop and manage energy efficiency programs to reduce energy consumption and operating costs.
- Technical degree or industrial engineering, electromechanics, automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance management role in an industrial environment.
- Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques, as well as project management.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial maintenance.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently and effectively, and knowledge in the use of maintenance management software (CMMS).
