Position Overview
The Engineering department is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on the Automation sector within our Engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive automation strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of automation projects, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement to optimize existing automation systems and processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for enhancement and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including FDA regulations and GxP guidelines.
- Assess potential risks associated with automation projects and devise effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Chemical) or a Master's degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical roles, including at least 3 years as an Automation Engineer and 2 years in Project Management.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with the SIEMENS suite for SCADA systems; knowledge of DELTA V (EMERSON) is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of various engineering disciplines and their interrelations.
- Expertise in qualification processes (URS, FS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
- A strong focus on Process Safety in all tasks.
- Proven leadership and technical capabilities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Adeptness in risk management.
