About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer IP&E to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to drive business expansion and accelerate sales growth in the IP&E market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Development: Determine, develop, and scale successful solution programs to accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within assigned markets or business segments.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Own the go-to-market strategy plan for assigned market/business segment, including total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  • Business Strategy Activities: Conduct business strategy activities, including market research, competitor analysis, and product development to support assigned market.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Business Unit (BU) on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support assigned market.
  • Supplier Management: Work with suppliers, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  • Product and Service Offers: Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers.
  • Communication Programs: Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development.
  • Supplier and Channel Programs: Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within assigned market.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Voice of Customer: Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management.
  • IP&E Experience: Experience in IP&E.
  • Engineering and Business Strategy: Experience in engineering and business strategy, including market & customer segmentation, competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis).
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales skills.
  • Travel: Full driving license and readiness for business travel.
  • Language Skills: English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken. Spanish language skills (native or C1).
  • Executive-Level Stakeholder Engagement: Expertise in engaging to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Results Delivery: Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry.
  • Performance Measurement Tools: Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstration of project/team leadership, and collaboration skills.
