Job Summary:

Arrow Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer IP&E; Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing market development strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Development: Develop and execute market development strategies to drive business growth and revenue in the IP&E; segment.
  2. Business Strategy: Conduct business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  3. Product Management: Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
  4. Supplier Management: Work with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  5. Communication Programs: Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers.
  6. Marketing Campaigns: Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Customer Engagement: Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  8. Relationship Building: Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
  9. Collaboration: Make joint calls with ARROW and supplier's Sales personnel where it is strategically and tactically appropriate on a regular basis.
  10. Training and Development: Be involved with supplier web training for new products, new product releases, and supplier promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies with the appropriate products.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management - must have.
  2. IP&E; Experience: Experience in IP&E; - must have.
  3. Business Strategy Experience: Experience in engineering and business strategy - market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) - must have.
  4. Sales Skills: Strong sales skills.
  5. Travel Requirements: Full driving license and readiness for business travel - must have.
  6. Language Skills: English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken.
  7. Spanish Language Skills: Spanish language skills (native or C1).
  8. Executive-Level Stakeholder Engagement: Expertise in engaging executive-level stakeholders.
  9. Results-Oriented: Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry.
  10. Performance Measurement Tools: Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  11. Leadership and Collaboration Skills: Demonstration of project/team leadership and collaboration skills.
