About the Role

C.H. Robinson, a leading global logistics platform, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Valencia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and promoting C.H. Robinson's logistics services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Interaction Management: Foster relationships with customers, make sales calls, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize CRM tools to identify, call, and track prospects to gain new customer opportunities.
  3. Territory Management: Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week to build relationships and promote C.H. Robinson's services.
  4. Sales Activity Execution: Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual sales expectations.
  5. Team Collaboration: Contribute to the regional sales team by sharing opinions, ideas, and best practices to support the success of the entire sales team and the branch.
  6. Account Management: Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager.
  7. Quote Coordination: Coordinate quotes with Sales Coordinator (where applicable) and facilitate the transition of new customers to the local Account Executive/Account Manager.
  8. Deal Team Management: Build a winning deal team using the right internal resources, leading and collaborating with International Air, Ocean & Rail and account management teams to develop a tailored solution.
  9. Customer Needs Assessment: Partner with customers to gather information on their needs and offer tailored solutions based on the C.H. Robinson platform to win business.
  10. Conflict Resolution: Manage conflict and navigate difficult conversations with customers or internal partners.
  11. Proposal Development: Build and deliver proposals, tailoring each presentation to the customer.
Requirements
  1. Operations Experience: Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder.
  2. Account Management or Sales Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in account management or sales.
  3. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week.
  4. Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish.
  5. Persuasion and Influence: Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
  6. Self-Driven and Results-Oriented: Self-driven, results-orientated individual with a 'hunter' mentality.
  7. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
