The Role:
We are currently looking to strengthen our Business Development Manager/Director (Medical Devices and Diagnostic Research and Real World Solutions) with responsibility for a EU territory. As a Business Development Manager/Director, you will be responsible for generating new and repeat business for ICON Clinical Research, promoting our Clinical solutions as well as Commercialization and Real World Evidence Solutions to Medical Device, Invitro Diagnostic organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the EU territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Medical Device and Invitro Diagnostic industries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth process at all stages (opportunity identification, proposal, bid defense) which maximizes the opportunity for success
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion
Requirements:
- Background in solutions sales within a CRO environment or experience selling within a clinical environment
- Understanding of B2B selling into Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Invitro Diagnostic companies
- Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape and market access
- Proven success building new accounts from scratch
