About the Role

The Leader, Gas Trading Compliance will work within the Global Compliance department to manage various risks while enabling trading operations from a compliance perspective. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing policies and internal controls to mitigate compliance-related risks.
  • Continually improving the Trading Compliance program and internal control structure.
  • Monitoring and reviewing trading activities to detect potential non-compliance events.
  • Liaising with corporate functions to support initiatives as needed.
  • Developing a deep understanding of Repsol's front-to-back office trading processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a knowledge of current gas and energy sector regulations in Spain and Europe. Additionally, you should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and execute in an agile fashion. Creativity and the ability to envision, design, and execute successful projects and products are essential.
