Job Title: Trading Compliance Analyst

Repsol Sa is seeking a highly skilled Trading Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a Trading Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with external regulations and building upon existing compliance programs.

About the Role:

The Trading Compliance team has a broad scope of work, including third-party risk management, due diligence, trade surveillance, monitoring regulations, designing policies and controls, creating and delivering training content, frequently presenting, and working with large data sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform trade surveillance activities and review transactions and system-generated alerts to prevent, detect, and investigate possible manipulative activities, policy violations, and/or other trading anomalies.
  • Continually improve the Trading Compliance program and internal control structure, identifying gaps and recommending risk-mitigating solutions.
  • Perform third-party due diligence activities, including understanding and monitoring international sanctions regimes and advising the business on other third-party risks.
  • Develop operational compliance tools, including policies and procedures.
  • Develop training and education programs and facilitate and lead training sessions on technical topics to educate stakeholders on compliance impacts to their business activities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and +5 years of experience within a trade surveillance environment and surveillance systems. You will be adept in a variety of activities, including third-party risk management, due diligence, trade surveillance, and monitoring regulations.
