Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trading Regulations Specialist to join our Energy Management business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all trading activities comply with European regulations, including MiFID II, EMIR, and REMIT II. You will work closely with front office and back office teams to provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance: Ensure that all Energy Management activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Policy Development: Design and update internal policies and procedures to align trading activities with current regulations.
  • Liaison with Regulators: Serve as a point of contact for all European regulatory requirements, responding to public consultations and providing reports when applicable.
  • Expert Advice: Advise traders and other teams on European regulatory issues, ensuring understanding and compliance with regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years of experience in regulatory teams within the energy/trading/finance sector. You must have deep knowledge of EMIR, REMIT, and MiFID, including the new changes arising from EMIR Refit and REMIT II. Proficiency in English is a must-have, and a good level of Portuguese is also desirable.
