Job Title: Trading Compliance Analyst

About the Role:

The Trading Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that our trading activities are conducted in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This includes monitoring and analyzing trading data, identifying potential compliance risks, and developing and implementing effective compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform trade surveillance activities and review transactions and system-generated alerts to prevent, detect, and investigate possible manipulative activities, policy violations, and/or other trading anomalies.
  • Continually improve the Trading Compliance program and internal control structure, identifying gaps and recommending risk-mitigating solutions.
  • Perform third-party due diligence activities, including understanding and monitoring international sanctions regimes and advising the business on other third-party risks (e.g. anti-bribery, etc.).
  • Develop operational compliance tools, including but not limited to policies and procedures.
  • Develop training and education programs as well as facilitate and lead as speaker at training sessions in front of large audiences on technical topics to educate stakeholders on compliance impacts to their business activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Law or Business.
  • Proven experience in similar positions.
  • Good knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to market abuse.
  • Strong financial markets experience with knowledge within a broad range of markets (for example: ICE, CME, etc.) and commodity products.
  • High proficiency in English and Spanish.
