We are seeking a highly skilled Trading Compliance Analyst to join our team at Repsol SA. As a key member of our Trading Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with external regulations and building upon our existing compliance program.
Key Responsibilities- Trade Surveillance and Monitoring: Perform trade surveillance activities, review transactions and system-generated alerts to prevent, detect, and investigate possible manipulative activities, policy violations, and/or other trading anomalies.
- Compliance Program Development: Continuously improve the Trading Compliance program and internal control structure, identifying gaps and recommending risk-mitigating solutions.
- Third-Party Due Diligence: Perform third-party due diligence activities, including understanding and monitoring international sanctions regimes and advising the business on other third-party risks.
- Operational Compliance Tools: Develop operational compliance tools, including policies and procedures.
- Training and Education: Develop training and education programs, facilitate and lead training sessions on technical topics to educate stakeholders on compliance impacts to their business activities.
- Process Improvement: Develop a deep understanding of Repsol's front-to-back office trading processes and coordinate with other groups to ensure that all processes are designed to operate in line with external and internal regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Law or Business.
- Experience: Proven experience in similar positions, with a strong background in trade surveillance and surveillance systems.
- Skills: Good knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to market abuse, strong financial markets experience, and high proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Ability: Ability to assess risks across trading operations, designing and implementing relevant processes/controls to mitigate them.
