We are seeking a highly skilled Trading Compliance Specialist to join our team at Repsol. As a key member of our Trading Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with external regulations and building upon our existing compliance program.
Key Responsibilities- Perform trade surveillance activities, reviewing transactions and system-generated alerts to prevent, detect, and investigate possible manipulative activities, policy violations, and/or trading anomalies.
- Continuously improve the Trading Compliance program and internal control structure, identifying gaps and recommending risk-mitigating solutions.
- Perform third-party due diligence activities, including understanding and monitoring international sanctions regimes and advising the business on other third-party risks.
- Develop operational compliance tools, including policies and procedures.
- Develop training and education programs, facilitating and leading training sessions on technical topics to educate stakeholders on compliance impacts to their business activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience within trade surveillance environments and surveillance systems.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments relating to market abuse.
- Ability to create value by envisioning, designing, and executing successful projects and products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
