The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales Spain to join our Spanish team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the entire Sales organization in Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement highly effective sales strategies and structures to drive business growth.
- Be a trusted advisor and business partner to Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams, driving strategic decision-making and acting as the main commercial point of contact.
- Own quality and consistency in collaboration with the global team and local leadership.
- Lead the Spanish sales team, coordinating, empowering, and engaging them to achieve business objectives.
- Set KPIs and evaluate performance against key metrics, identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Review workforce planning to ensure it captures key local priorities.
- Instill a strong business development mindset, combining products, pricing, and sales pitches to drive growth.
- Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales KPIs.
- Analyze local processes, identifying differences and best practices, and developing solutions and processes that fit the business needs.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Sales leadership, preferably in high-growth SaaS/marketplace with an SMB/mid-market focus.
- Excellent analytical thinking and a hands-on leadership style.
- Strong people development skills, with the ability to mentor others on craft, process, and leadership.
- A successful track record of being a partner to marketing, finance, and CS leadership.
- Ability to prioritize and balance driving key business objectives with requirements across multiple stakeholders.
- Clear understanding of team performance evaluation and metrics, reporting, and budgeting procedures.
- Customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.
