About the Role:

Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled IT Control Specialist to join our team. As an IT Control Specialist, you will be responsible for providing independent and objective assessments of the design and operating effectiveness of control environments, in accordance with Zurich's ICIF Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage testing of IT controls for assigned entities
  • Support the Testing Team Manager in ad-hoc related tasks and projects
  • Complete deliverables in a timely manner as per assigned by the Testing Team Manager
  • Be a point of contact for the IT framework
  • Lead by example and be proactive and customer-oriented

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in Information Security, IT controls testing, IT Audit/IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Italian B2 is nice to have
  • Experience and knowledge of IT control testing or Audit is an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security standards and principles preferably demonstrated by an entry certification such as Security +, SSCP or CSX (an asset)
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security standards and principles preferably demonstrated by an advanced certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA or CISM (an asset)
